Tonight, i rage, for the first time this entire week!!! WHOO sooo fckn stoked! Crew has been difficult to handle with school, sorority, and social life and shit like that. It's taking up my fckn life!!! I have to wake up at 6ish AM to go to practice the next day. Ahhh! But whatever...

I used to take my home for granted. Yeah i live on a beautiful island, cool, i'm used to it, no big deal. I can go to a pretty beach whenever i want, i can have great warm weather all year round, so what, its not gonna go anywhere.

Well, in August 2009 i left to California for a semester and then got to go back home for 6 weeks for winter break.
SHIT, i cant even explain to you how awesome it was to step out of the airplane and take my first breath of fresh Hawaiian air. To put it in terms that my friends would understand, i basically creamed my panties. I never thought i would get so much happiness out of something as simple as that. Ever since that moment i started to appreciate the smallest things around me. Things as simple as the sound of rustling palm trees at night, the heat of the sun, warm salty breeze, the beautiful sound of Mina birds in the morning, and warm sand between my toes. It's opened my mind up to so many things that i haven't really took the time to think about. During that one breath, i was in the moment. One single moment that meant so much to me. A moment that began to put tears in my eyes. It was powerful. These past 5 months i've been dwelling on the past and stressing about the future that i have neglected all thought of just enjoying things in the moment.

So, i've decided to take this mindset back to California with me. I'm going to stop cluttering my mind with unnecessary things that have been preventing me to just be here in the moment and enjoy things for what they are. Since being back, i can say that i appreciate the cooler temperature, the California sun, my sisters, friends, and the opportunity to even be here.

So here it is, a new semester, a clear mind, and a fresh start.
